Outline: This program provides students with an opportunity to know more about tourism in different corners of the world, say, case studies. 2. Through internationalization in education and academic cooperation, students would be comfortably involved in professional studies. The program aims to enhance students’ capabilities of English communications, and brings potential opportunities for the students to have
international visits and student exchanges.
Outcomes: This program is a part of efforts to achieve the goals of Department’s education include internationalization, professional learning, and incorporation of practices into theoretical teaching. It offers an access for the students to the international trend of sustainable developments and tourism in tropical areas, as well as providing one of ways to enhance students’ capabilities of English communications. This program brings resources for the Department to advance students’ professional knowledge regarding sustainable leisure and tourism development, and bridges the educational resources of MCU with the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.

Title: 首爾社會安全網與國際交流經驗

Speaker: Dr. Ji Young Jerry Yoo, Deputy Head of Department, Office of Management and Planning / ESG&PR Team, Seoul Welfare Foundation, South Korea
Objectives: This activity aims to introduce the history and major projects of the Seoul Welfare Foundation, the objectives and significance of international exchange, the abilities required for international exchange, and to introduce the New Secure Income Pilot Program in the social safety net. Through bilingual teaching and diverse activities, it provides students with opportunities for international exchange in their professional fields and trains their English reading and listening skills.
Outcomes: For students, this activity enhances their understanding of the Seoul Welfare Foundation, including its history and major projects. Additionally, students gain an understanding of the importance of international exchange and acquire related skills. The activity, conducted in English, enhances students' abilities in English reading and listening. For teachers, benefits include enriching the curriculum with multicultural content, helping students understand the importance of international exchange from the perspective of foreign scholars, and facilitating the exchange of teaching and practical experience through dialogue with foreign scholars.
